On December 13, 2005, the Tucson Citizen launched the inaugural column for its “My Tucson” series. Seven local writers from varied walks of life were selected to do more than 100 opinion columns for the paper in the following year. I was fortunate enough to be in that first group and here are links to all of my columns. Our editor, Billie Stanton, called us her ‘scribes’ and allowed us great leeway in our work. The only part of these columns we didn’t get to write was the headline. I did ask for one, however, “Take two (billion) as needed for congestion.”

I hope you enjoy them,
Barney Brenner
